Raspberry Chocolate-Chip Pancakes

The beautiful Rachel Stoney showed me this decadent version of pancakes. Take a classic pancake recipe and fancy it up with some delicious fresh summer berries and sweet chocolate chips. For your dining pleasure any time of day:

Pancake Recipe:*
1 1/2 c flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbs. sugar
1 1/4 c milk
1 egg
3 tbs. butter, melted
1 tbs. vanilla

fresh raspberries, rinsed (about 1/2 c)
chocolate chips (about 1/2 c)
syrup

*You could also make chocolate chip, blueberry, plain pancakes or orange zested ones. :)

Heat up griddle or large pan.

In a large bowl, whisk the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center, and pour in the milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.

Then, stir in raspberries and chocolate chips. Spoon the batter onto the griddle or pan, and flip when the sides start to stiffen and it is golden brown underneath.

Serve warm with syrup and all your breakfast favorites!
