I can't tell you how devastated I was when I put on my favorite cashmere cardigan only to discover a well-worn hole in the elbow. But with some adorable home-made patchwork, I was back in business and the sweater was cuter than ever!
All I did was take some extra red felt I had from previous projects, cut a heart out big enough to fully cover the hole, and then sewed it onto the sleeve. :) Easy peasy. I used a sewing machine for mine, but you could just as easily practice your embroidery and sew it by hand.
And there you go!
